Many people have misconception about blue ray DVDs, so here is a list of those myths and quick explanations.

Blu Ray is nice but it's just another gimmick to part consumers of their hard earned cash with no real value in it for them.

Answer: No, it's a legitimate technology developed by top high-tech companies. The real value is the super high quality video and sound that no other type of DVD can match.

Huh, and I thought blu ray had something to do with blue tooth.

People will argue with me that it isn't as good of a picture, well the human eye can't tell the difference between 720p and 1080p on a 42 inch TV 15 feet away, and the up converter on the PS3 is extraordinary you cant tell the difference on my TV between spider man 3 blu ray or spider man 3 DVD up convert, except the additional content

Answer: This person go a good point here, however, full HD (1028p) is much than 720p so you better try a real full HD LCD that's compatible with blue ray DVDs .
